Next weekend, the weather still looks mild and dry although the forecast northerly winds could chill things a little. We have the Shipwrecked Mariners Pennant race on Saturday. There is a £5 entry for this race and you can sign up and pay online here or pay on the day. We also have Novice Racers and the last few remaining spaces for our first Women on the Water session on 18th May. Please do use the online booking form to let us know how you would like to take part. On Sunday there is a Cockle Fun race and a pursuit race for dinghies and Hawks.

If you have had any trouble signing up for volunteer slots, where slots are visible but not bookable, this problem has now been fixed. There are a few crew positions next weekend and plenty of slots still to fill over the bank holiday weekend. If you are not yet familiar with the system, look for "Duty Roster" in the members hub (you will need to login) and click on one (or more) of the blue "volunteer" buttons. Please arrive one and a quarter hours before the race start and meet the race officer and other volunteers.

Tickets are selling well for the Big Spring Party on Sunday 26th May please book online if you would like to come. A wristband system will be operating on the night.

Now that it is nice and warm, we would like to remind all members that dogs are not allowed on the balcony (except for assistance dogs). Please remember to also let your guests know about this rule. There is very little parking with shade so if your dog doesn't like being left tied up in the shade under the balcony, we recommend leaving him/her at home.

RNLI 200th Anniversary Celebrations calling all golfers. In this important fundraising year, there is a RNLI Golf Day at Old Hunstanton on 21^st June, courtesy of the Club and we have a few tee times still available. Last year £35,000.00 was raised and we hope to exceed that this year. Any help with sponsorship, donations or auction items would be much appreciated. All monies raised will go to equip and assist our Lifeboat station here in Old Hunstanton. As sailing club members, the RNLI could one day save your life, so please support us. Sunday 19th Open 11:30 to 16:00 Lunch from 12:00-15:00.
