Wonderful Easter Weekend

What a brilliant weekend! Even though the temperatures were a little cooler and sometimes the wind was a little stronger than we'd hoped for, it was wonderful to see so many members out on the water and in the clubhouse. |
Huge congratulations go to Archie Nye, Freddie Inch, Conor Godbold, Sam Macfadyen, Millie Hyatt and Tom Honan who spent all of last week working extremely hard both on and off the water to pass their RYA Dinghy Instructor course with flying colours on Saturday. |  Our new DIs |

 Hawk Spring series 1 | 10 boats came to the start line for the Allcomers Captain's Cup on Friday morning. 5 boats for Golden Jubilee on Saturday and 11 for the annual Easter Egg race on Sunday. The biggest (1st) prize was awarded to the smallest participant - Keira Walker (age 7) who ably crewed for her Dad, Joel in a laser 2000, Congratulations also to Henry Moss who came 2nd and Jonathan Groome for 3rd place. Meanwhile we held our annual Clubhouse Easter Egg hunt on Sunday morning and it was fantastic to see so many of our junior members enjoying the Clubhouse with their families.
So far we have 6 participants in the Hawk Spring series which concludes next Saturday at 1700. All results are available to view on the website. |
