Women on the Water (WoW)
Women on the Water is a friendly, casual sailing group. There are a number of supported sessions through the annual BSSC sailing calendar to encourage women to get out on the water sailing together. There is qualified supervision and safety for these sessions; it's a non-competitive and supportive environment, often with a mid-tide cake stop!
Whatever your experience you are most welcome to take part!
If you already have experience we would love you to join, to take others out with you and share your knowledge
If you have had previous experience but need your confidence building this is the session for you
If you are a complete beginner we can help you get involved and experience the fun
...and most of all it's a fun and relaxed way to meet and sail with other women sailors. We encourage everyone of all abilities to join in.

We try to time the WoW sessions with a 'later in the day tide' so we can enjoy a social together afterward.
