Boats!

Our club AGM took place on Saturday and confirmed the transition from our outgoing Commodore Ben Stocks to our new Commodore Sarah Kemp. We would like to welcome James Watson to the post of Vice Commodore and Richard Turner has joined the general committee. Many thanks to Malcolm Collins for his 49 years of service on the general committee.

We've had more dry and mild weather this week. As you can see from the photo many boat owners have taken the opportunity to collect their craft for winter storage. There remains 12 sailing dinghies, 10 tenders, 9 kayaks and 2 SUPs which are now overdue removal and we would appreciate your immediate attention to this, if you are the owner of any of these craft. We also have 4 wind surfing boards that appear to be abandoned and would ask the owners of these to come and collect as soon as possible.

We are in the final stages of drafting the 2025 club handbook. I you believe that you have a photo worthy of the cover, please do send it to the_clubhouse@bssc.net

We are now taking bookings by email for the Christmas lunch on 15th December and Christmas party on 21st December. Menus for these events can be found by clicking the event links. Menus for next weekend are shown below.

Opening times: in response to requests for a weekend supper service, we will be trialling a Saturday night opening with a la carte menus (which will be published on Mondays). Please book your table by email if possible.
