High tides and lovely sunshine

As you can see, in this week's panorama from the clubhouse, we've had exceptionally high tides and stunning, sunny sailing conditions for Idler bowl, Cockle Champagne breakfast and Autumn points for Hawks, results are on the website. There was a great turn out for the SUPs and kayaks on Saturday and Sunday morning too. With luck, this weather will hold out a bit longer. Don't forget boats, kayaks and SUPs can all stay in their parking spaces (displaying a 2023 parking sticker) until 31st October.

Next weekend, races are planned for Hawks, Cockles and Handicap fleets. It's also Rugby season again and we plan to show the England games in the clubhouse. For a full list, please see our online calendar. The first match is against Argentina from the Stade de Marseille at 8pm on Saturday 9th September. The annual Les Dye, Trophy for Sharpies and the 2nd ever Brancaster Staithe Shanty Festival will be taking place the following weekend 16th & 17th September.

In the clubhouse we say good bye (until next summer) to our fantastic team of temporary staff. Ollie, Amy, Poppy, Sam and the rest of the crew have all worked hard and been so friendly and helpful all summer, we miss them already. As we are now down to only three members of staff, it would be hugely appreciated if you can return used glassware to the bar. If anyone is interested in volunteering either behind the bar, waitressing or washing up, please do let us know.

We have now begun Autumn opening times (Friday evening, Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday lunch, with breakfasts added for the early tides):
Friday 16:00 until 22:00 dinner service from 18:00 until 21:00. (HW 13:31)
Saturday 11:30 until 22:00 lunch service from 12:00 until 15:00 & dinner service from 18:00 until 21:00. (RS 14:30, HW 15:17)
Sunday 11:30 until 18:00 lunch service from 12:00 until 15:00. (RS 16:00, HW 16:45)

Below is our new September menu, there will also be specials on the blackboard, please do ask staff what is available. If you have any questions regarding special dietary requirements please ask us when ordering your food.

We recommend you book your table by email and arrive on time. A pre order is needed for tables of more than 6 people.
