Happy new sailing season!

We've had an incredibly mixed weekend of weather here. Very early start times and high winds proved to be quite off putting for the 1st race on Friday morning. However the turnout for Happy Hour on Friday evening was extremely enthusiastic! Sailing on Saturday went ahead in glorious (if slightly chilly) conditions and our Pirates Launch Party was a big success.

Sunday delivered strong and gusty conditions but an adrenaline fuelled race went ahead and was rapidly followed by an adrenaline fuelled Easter Egg hunt around the clubhouse for the junior members! This morning we had light wind and blue skies, perfect for a race course to take in a tour of the harbour (from Cockle to Oyster via Line buoy)! Many, many thanks to all our race officers and rescue crews for wrapping up warm and showing up so early in the season (and early in the morning!). Next weekend we have very small tides so no racing is scheduled. There are still spaces available to book on our Marine Radio Course on Sunday 12th. Please book online by tomorrow evening so that we can supply your manual in time for pre course study. There is also a boat jumble at the Norfolk Showground from 10am - 2pm on Sunday 12th, more details available here.
Menus for next weekend are shown below, if you would like make a booking for lunch or dinner, please email us: the_clubhouse@bssc.net
