What's been going on

We've been open every evening after sailing for half term last week and many members took the opportunity to use the clubhouse facilities, even if the weather was often not warm. Plenty of sailors enjoyed the sunny conditions on Saturday and the Spring Points and Hawk Champagne Challenge series were completed on Sunday. Results from all races are on the website. Woman On The Water also met up for an afternoon sail on Saturday with drinks in the clubhouse after. Next weekend we will be hosting the British Sharpie Championships, the forecast is for sunshine and a decent breeze (still NE but you can't have everything!)

Swallows and Amazons were joined by members of Hunstanton Sailing Club for sailing on Thursday evening. This week they will be meeting at Burnham Over Staithe for a low water fun session. Children of all ages are welcome, if you'd like to join in please contact Rosie Newport.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to Rosie for all her hard work arranging the Swallows and Amazons activities, it's an enormous job and she never stops smiling. Rosie is our very worthy Volunteer Hero for May 2023!

Next weekend we will be hosting the British Sharpie Championships. The clubhouse will be open for registration, briefings, teas & coffees at 07:30 on Friday morning. The first race is due to start at 10am. We will also be open after sailing on Friday for drinks and bar snacks. There will be a BBQ on Saturday from 2pm until 3:30 which all club members are invited to book ahead to join. Tickets for Children under 12 are £9.95 and Adults are £13.95 (2 adult tickets are included in the entry fee). You are encouraged to reserve a ticket by email and come into the clubhouse to pay and collect your ticket on Friday.

Opening times from Friday 9th June to Sunday 11th June:
Friday 07:30 until 22:00, dinner service from 18:00 until 21:00. (HW10:56)
Saturday 11:30 until 22:00, BBQ from 14:30 until 15:00 and dinner service 18:00 until 21:00. (HW11:52)
Sunday 11:00 until 16:00, lunch service from 12:00 until 15:00. (HW12:55)

Below is our June menu. There will also be sweet and savoury bar snacks available all day, these cannot always be kept on the bar due to food safety regulations so please do ask staff what is available. If you have any questions regarding special dietary requirements please ask us when ordering your food.

We recommend reserving a table in advance by email especially for large groups. Tables of 8 or more people should email a pre order from the menus below.
