Meanwhile, out on the water, low tides and a few punchy gusts provided some fun racing conditions for the all-comers over the weekend. Laser 2ks, Lasers and a Fireball, took part with some fast tight reaches and the odd capsize downwind. The good turnout of Hawks had a confusing weekend of competitive racing. Lack of water in the harbour on Saturday meant sailing with reduced centreboard to avoid constantly running aground but Sunday was better apart from a one start flag sequence confused half the fleet! | ||
