It's Sailing Week!

We've had a fantastic week here with many members enjoying the sunshine and afternoon tides. The Summer points for handicap racers and Oram series have concluded. Results are available to view on the website.

We are very happy to announce that BSSC have been generously gifted a Topper Topaz Argo. This dinghy is available to club members to hire and is the perfect boat for building confidence. Email Jim Blades to make your booking.

It's officially sailing week! The Sailing week office is humming, the printer is working overtime, the marquee is up and the briefing is done. We want to extend a very warm welcome to all our visiting sailors and a huge thank you to all volunteers, especially James, Caroline, Arthur, Roland & Ginny Watson, John Bellamy, Ed Harley, Ben Stocks and everyone else who will be getting up in the dark tomorrow morning to man safety boats, Starting hut/boats, the hard marshals, first aiders and our fab kitchen and bar team who will be providing caffeine and carbs after racing!

Late entries for Sailing Week will be available to book online for the remainder of the week. There is only ONE ticket option available and you should use this for all bookings. Tickets for the Hog Roast have sold out. If you booked online, you should collect your physical ticket before the Hog Roast begins on Wednesday 7th.

Please remember to return any Sailing Week silverware as soon as possible.

Tickets are still available for the Big Party Night with live music from "The 29 Fingers" on 10th August. If you would like to join the "Burger Bonanza" (beef, chicken and vegetarian options are available) please buy your ticket online by midday on Thursday 8th August. Tickets without food will be available to buy online until they sell out. This event will operate with tickets (for food) AND a wrist band system. Tickets for food will be available to collect from Friday morning and wristbands can be collected from 18:00 on the night. Members in the marquee without a wristband will be asked to move to a different area of the club.

We will continue to show live coverage of olympic sailing whenever we are open. The schedule is available to view online.

Please find our menu for this week below. We advise members email to book a table inside, tables outside are available on a strictly first come first served basis. We will always do our best to accommodate walk-ins but recommend that members book ahead wherever possible to avoid disappointment.
