Hopes for warmer weather

We are keeping all digits crossed here that we have finally had a turn in the weather. It has been so cold and damp and windy for such a long time. This morning's temperature forecast of 14 degrees celsius does seem to have come true, so I'm hopeful that the forecast for the approaching bank holiday weekend will also be warm and sunny. Or at least, relatively warm and sunny compared to the horrible weather we have had.

Nick has had a last minute cancellation for the next Powerboat level 2 course on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd May. If you'd like to take advantage of this available space, please book online as soon as possible.

Boat Parking Stickers for 2024 have finally arrived! These are available for collection at any time when we are open. We hope to have corresponding stainless steel tags installed in the dinghy parks by the weekend so that it will be easier to find the correct place to park your boats.

Don't forget to come along for our happy hour promotions this Saturday and Sunday evenings!

Our first Women on the Water session is scheduled for Saturday 18th May. All are welcome to join in the fun, even if you've never set foot in a boat before - we can team you up with someone experienced. We do need to get an idea of numbers and abilities so that we can plan safety cover and ensure everyone has an appropriate buddy. So please do use the online booking form to let us know how you would like to take part. As always, there will be tea and cake on the beach midway and wine in the bar after. Both of these "way-points" are to encourage participants to sail as efficiently as possible to a pre designated destination!

Monday 5th Open 11:30 to 19:00 Lunch from 12:00-15:00

Due to member feedback, we will be trialling a new a la carte menu below. As always we advise booking ahead by email the_clubhouse@bssc.net . For tables of more than 6 people, please provide a pre order by email the day before your booking.
