Coming up this weekend

Unfortunately, due to lack of participants, no racing took place this weekend. I'm sure you are all primed for a return to Norfolk for the full weekend of racing and events coming up! Autumn points conclude for the Hawk fleet on Saturday and Hawk Last on the Water begins on Sunday. The All-comers Autumn points continue on Saturday and Sunday and there is breakfast after racing on both days. Full opeining times for the next few weeks are shown at the end of this email.

There will be a Minuty Happy hour on Friday 26th from 6pm until 7pm. Both M de Minuty (by the bottle) AND Conquest larger will be discounted! Feel free to bring guests, just remember to sign them into the visitors book.

We will be showing live coverage of the Womens Rugby World Cup Final from 16:00 on Saturday.

Also on Saturday 27th, there is a Hawk dinner. If you would like to join the Hawk fleet, please contact Clive Odell directly.

On Saturday 8th November, there will be an evening event at BSSC to mark Remembrance weekend 2025. By popular demand Brig (Ret'd) David Wakefield OBE will be talking about the end of World War 2 in the Pacific. The talk is free of charge but donations to The Royal British Legion and Always a Rifleman Programme are most welcome. Members are encouraged to wear a poppy and to bring along any WWII medals, uniforms and other memorabilia. The evening will start with a premium Gin and Vodka tasting kindly provided by Brancaster Drinks. A warming supper of beef bourginon and vegetarian lasagne is available after the talk for £16 per person (please book by email). We do hope you can join us.
