Autumn Events

We're experiencing very blustery weather here right now but the weekend delivered excellent sailing conditions for the mini regatta. Rain held off untill Sunday afternoon so we had 2 races each day with 2 starts (one for all-comers and one for Hawks). Huge thanks to Chris and Sue for providing interesting and challenging courses for everyone, Steven, Mike and Stuart for manning safety boats all weekend and John for speedy results. Next weekend we will be resuming the Autumn points series for all-comers and Hawks on Saturday afternoon. There is no racing scheduled for Sunday. Autumn points conclude the following weekend when there will be a Minuty Happy hour on Friday 26th from 6pm until 7pm. Both M de Minuty (by the bottle) AND Conquest larger will be discounted! Feel free to bring guests, just remember to sign them into the visitors book. There is also a Hawk dinner on Saturday 27th. If you would like to join the Hawk fleet, please contact Clive Odell directly.
Save the date! Our first winter supper is scheduled for Saturday 8th November. David Wakefield with be giving us his "End of the War in the Pacific" presentation followed by a delicious, winter waming meal.
