What fabulous sailing conditions we had last weekend. There was something for everyone - a gentle sail on Saturday and a more blustery, challenge on Sunday. Many thanks to Race officers Sam and Ash for setting imaginative courses and safety boat crews for your support. Well done to Sam and Annlisa for winning the Victory Half Hull and to Malcolm and Catherine for the Hawk August series. Full results are on the website. Next weekend, the tides are in the evening and we have races for all-comers and Hawks.

If you have a trophy, please return it as soon as possible to the clubhouse, it's a big job to get everything engraved and turned around in time for prizeiving, so we do need you to help us by getting the silverware back on time.

We wish to remind ALL members that the kitchen and bar are for staff only. Please do not enter the kitchen at any time, unless you have arranged acces in advance.This is a matter of safety as well as repect for our work spaces. Your cooperation in this is matter much appreciated.

There are still some gaps in the duty roster, it would be wondeful to see the remainder of the sailing season signed up please help wherever you can. https://www.bssc.net/roster.

In less than 2 weeks time we have our mini regatta - 13th and 14th September. There will be racing for all fleets but it would be a big help if you can let us know on the Whats App Polls if you plan to come along. If you're not on any BSSC WhatsApp groups, please let us know your interests and we'll get you added. They are a fantastic way to stay right up to date with what's going on at BSSC.

Even if you're all sailed out, please come along to the dinner on Saturday 13th. The menu is shown here and you can book by email until Thursday 11th.

Look out for our email on Thursday with exciting new Autumn menus! As always, we advise booking your table by email if possible. If you fancy doing something different, the local wildfowlers have planned a litter pick on Scolt Head Island on Saturday 13th September. If you'd like to join them, please contact Chris Cotton by email.
