It's cold outside!

The weather may be cold and wet outside but a warm welcome awaits all our members and their guests during the winter months at BSSC.

We hope to have the online membership renewals ready by the end of this week. Please look out for an email with all the info you need to renew your BSSC membership for 2026.

This Saturday we have our 2nd winter yoga morning and we hope many of you will join us. Rachel will be teaching yoga for all agess and abilities at 9am this Saturday 13th December. She has generously offered to teach free of charge and asks that attendees make a donation to National Coastwatch Institution (NCI). Donations can be made by cash or credit/debit card and there will be time to socialise with hot and cold drinks available after the class. On Sunday we will be serving Christmas lunch and hope that you can join us.

Matt Curtis, BDMLR's Norfolk area co-ordinator will be joining us on Saturday 3rd January at 18:30 to tell us more about the incredible network of dedicated, volunteer Marine Mammel medics. Formed in North Norfolk in 1988, in response to a virus epidemic that resulted in thousands of deaths of common and grey seals along our coastline, British Divers Marine Life Rescue continues to provide specialist assistance to marine mammals, draw attention to the threats they face and offer solutions for their protection, all whilst promoting the highest standards of animal welfare across the UK. All BSSC members and their guests are invited to our latest winter fundraiser on Saturday 3rd January. There will be a social supper after the talk, please let us know if you would like to come along.
