Exciting (online) developments

The Cockle fleet enjoyed a lively laying up supper on Saturday night and our first Sunday Lunch of the winter season went down a treat.

All dinghies, Kayaks and SUPs should have been removed from club land now. If you have not yet done so, please remove your property as soon as possible. We will soon need to use the kayak rack for clubhouse renovation materials. Any items remaining after Monday 13th will be moved elsewhere.

We have made some exciting upgrades to the members hub!

Once logged in, you will see some additional options: By scrolling down to the "Membership" section you will find a "Members Directory"! This had been the most frequently asked for feature, so we are very happy to announce that any member can now message another member via the hub. Don't worry, your personal information is NOT available outside the Members Hub and you have FULL control over what information is displayed to other members. All information that has been added to your profile is set to "Private" by default. If you have chosen to make some (or all) of your contact information "Public" this will be available to view (only by other members).

You will also see there is a "Boat Directory". If you cause damage to another boat or you notice a problem, for example a flat trolly tyre, you may be able to contact the owner directly, by looking for the name of the boat within the Boat Directory.

Below these directories, you will also find "My Mailing Lists" where you can subscribe to receive emails about specific subjects and keep informed about the things you enjoy most at BSSC.

Next Sunday, the clubhouse will be open for a full roast at lunchtime 11:30 until 16:00. We will be closed for annual leave until Sunday 10th December. We are now taking bookings for Christmas lunch on Sunday 17th December, the menu is published the online calendar.

Sunday 11:30 until 16:00 lunch service from 12:15 until 14:30 (HW 17:51)
