"The End of the War in the Pacific" a talk to mark VJ Day 80 by Brig (Ret'd) David Wakefield OBE

BSSC are hosting an evening event to mark Remembrance weekend 2025. By popular demand Brig (Ret'd) David Wakefield OBE will be talking about the end of World War 2 in the Pacific. The talk is free of charge but donations to The Royal British Legion and Always a Rifleman Programme are most welcome. Members are encouraged to wear a poppy and to bring along any WWII medals, uniforms and other memorabilia. The evening will start with a premium Gin and Vodka tasting kindly provided by Brancaster Drinks. A warming supper of beef bourginon and vegetarian lasagne is available after the talk for £16 per person (please book by email). We do hope you can join us.
