We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and now looking forward to welcoming the New Year. The BSSC New Years Eve party is sold out and we politely remind members that entry to ticketed events is only available to members who have bought tickets. We anticipate the clubhouse to be very full and ask people without tickets not to cause overcrowding. We will also be open for WoW drinks from 7pm on 30th December (gentlemen welcome) and the British Divers Marine Life Rescue fundraiser on Saturday 3rd January (please let us know if you plan to stay for supper).
When the weather is grey and dull, it may seem like spring is a long way off but the 2026 handbook will be arriving with you in January so now would be a good moment to make sure we have your correct mailing address - you can update this in the members hub.
If you need to change any information regarding your membership, your boats or your boat parking needs, please email Alex. If you have asked about a new space for 2026, we plan to allocate the 1st wave (pun intended) of new parking places in February and hope to be able to repeat last year's success and accommodate all requests. In order to achieve this, we need members to renew promptly. If you have not yet done so, please use this link to complete the renewal process. If you have any difficulty with your renewal, please don't hesitate to get in touch by email or phone 07747 597902.
While you're logged in, why not take a look at the Classifieds section of the BSSC website? This is a great place to find your perfect upgrade, sell the Topper that no longer gets sailed or bag a bargain fixer-upper with plenty of time to do the fixing up before spring. In 2 months time you will be able to bring your boat to BSSC!
