January Sunday Lunches and Seafood ,Steak Evenings

Dear Members,

Please find below some information and menus regarding the coming weeks, inc. the Seafood Evening on, Sat 17th Jan and Sunday Roasts.
As you may have noted, we have a couple of dates in the diary where we will be holding themed nights at the club. Previously, in December, we had a curry night. The turnout was very good, and I feel the efforts of everyone involved were well received by those that attended. Thank you.
Our next evening will be held on Saturday Jan 17th, and then on the 21st Feb. Jan 17th will be a Seafood Evening. The following month will be a Steak Night. I am thinking of doing sharing boards of Chateaubriand, Roasted Shallots, Truffle and Parsley Mash, Duck Fat Chips, Peppercorn and Bearnaise Sauces. The price for the Chateaus would be expensive but hopefully worth it. Your input would appreciated.
It would be really great to have your support at these events to keep the club's community spirit high in these colder, quieter months.
The menu for the 17th Jan, Seafood Evening is as follows:
Beer Battered Haddock and Skinny Fries, Chunky Tartare and Peas
Pan Roasted Gurnard, Saffron Fondant Potatoes, Lobster Bisque, Local Mussels, Cockles and Clams
A Day at the Beach
The price is a very reasonable £25 per head for the 3 courses. Booking is obviously essential for the above, and would be appreciated at your earliest convenience to help with ordering and food preparation.
 Sunday Roasts -
The Sunday roasts for the coming weeks are as follows. They will feature the usual trimmings of roast potatoes and gravy, and local, seasonal vegetables.
Sun 11th - Roast Pork Loin, Crackling and Bramley Apple Sauce
Sun 18th - Rosemary and Garlic, Slow Roasted Shoulder of Lamb
Sun 25th - Roasted Topside of Sandringham Red Poll, Yorkshire Pudding
Soup starters and desserts will also be available.
