Parent & Child fleet

To build on the successful turnout of Sailing Week, I'll be notfying those interested that various weekends will have a specific Mirror race along the same lines (short, sharp and harbour-based). Like the Typhoon Trophy, they will be held across the season and there will be a number of discards available so attendance at each race is not required.

I would like to set up a buddy system for anyone interested - those at the front of the fleet will be paired with a boat towards the back that wants some tips. There may well be a "rigging hour" around the 1st May bank holiday where we will look at how the boats are set up, what settings the faster boats use etc etc.

And if anyone wants a session on rigging the spinnaker including all the no-nos I learnt this year, I would be more than happy to go through that.
